A friend of mine recently gave me large res scans of this pic. I had given it to him awhile ago because I detest it so much (even if it is of my Rosie). It had been a whole year before I saw it again~!!!! I was surprised. How could I draw such ickyness. *lol* Anyhow, it was the only pic I was able to "donate" to the San Jose, CA Phantom Gallery in 2005 when they took some time in storefronts in downtown SJ to show off works from Fanime Staff artists. :P

this was before i started using copic markers preferrably, and i think you can tell. ^^;;;;; sorrryyyyy~!!!!

hehe. the frame i put this in ended up getting cracked (glass) somewhere down the line, and I don't remember who, but a bandaid was put along the crack to "go with the theme" of this pic. cute. :D (btw, the bandaid on her nose was because i messed up with the shading---i didn't have white correction ink, so i ended up making a mess with opaque gouache....a really big mess~!).

I like meroko. ^^;; My coloring in this so far is totally all over the place thou. I have no clue what I wanted to do. O__O;;

I've recently had a little bit extra time on my hands (ie: quit mah job), and now that it's down to the wire to get stuff done for Fanime con (in San Jose, CA), I've been spending the past two days drawing. My hands burn. *lol* Here's just a couple of drawings I plan to have for prints. I'm pretty "meh" about them both, but I guess I can't really do much about that now. ^^;;;;;;;;;

Kaiousei Art Post!!

Hello people! Obviously I've been drawing too much lately and not posting as much on here as I probably should, so here you go. I need more Naruto art. XD

After playing too much Suikoden V, I'm growing quite fond of the main character. All of the Suikoden heroes end up having distinct personalities (except for IV) in spite of never saying anything, and HeroV is the most sarcastic thing in the universe.

It doesn't help my fangirling much when he walks around in Tir's outfit, so I drew him here in it plus his Gremio-cloak. Actually, I just wanted to draw something where I could use my brush pens, and I did. And I coloured it with one pencil per section (except his eyes) just to see if I could use white to my advantage. I like it. ^_^ It's very soft - but my scanner makes his gray hair look BROWN for some reason... oh well.

I... love One Piece, but I have a hard time expressing it a lot. After getting my friend Tim into it I get to hear him fangirl a lot about it, too. So when I was doodling, it turned into this. Being a slasher at heart I'm sure I'll end up shipping some... gay pairing in One Piece once I see more of it, but I don't think I'll ever get over the... disgustingly adorable Nami/Luffy. I don't think anyone doesn't like that pairing. It's just too... awesome.

I like how Nami came out, but Luffy looks a bit too small - which is why I need to practice drawing group pictures more often. I like my colours, as usual.

Heyo guys! Look at me, I'm updating!!!

So anyway, since getting my own domain, I've been meaning to have a fanart archive for a very, very long time. For a while, I didn't have faith in my coding skills enough to think I could do it... so I did what I always do when I need coding I don't know how to do: I borrowed it from someone else!

So it's been a long, long time since I started posting art on the internet, and started trying to have artsites for myself. Finally, FINALLY I have SUCCEEDED!!

Hello everyone!!! kaiousei posting from the artblog with her first entry, finally!!! Let's work hard, 私たち!!!

I've got two fanart pics for the posting!

This is Laharl, from Disgaea! I love this game so much, and I only recently managed to get my hands on it. I played it for a bit the other day... I've tried really hard to do some Disgaea fanart since I first played the game, even, but my style didn't really work with the art style of the game. I decided to just go ahead and do a chibi, so voila! I like this picture a lot~!! But... it's so blantantly obvious I put it on a black backdrop that it's depressing. XD;; Sorry I suck so much, but it looks much better like this, and it's still kind of funny-looking.

This, along with most everything else I draw, looks so much better in person that it makes me sick. Why oh why do computers make coloured pencils look so bad? How do you do it, Porku? ;_;

So I guess I'll start? ^___^;;; Alot of people ask me how I do my comic pages (that is, when I can manage to keep a comic around. Kyahahha). So I thought I'd start to post progress pics of some pages......yeah. XD

I always start out with blue lead for guidelines. And then go over it in more detail with regular pencil. After that, I go back and add the rest of the details with pencil. .....I'm lazy, so I haven't gotten that far yet. XDDD *lol* I'm REALLY lazy. This one page has been sitting around for weeks and it's only at this stage. *dies*
